Lightstream Visualization

Guided color-flow visualization: pick a healing color, watch it flow through a body outline, follow the script to soften tension.

This is a reference tool, not a replacement for EMDR therapy. EMDR must be delivered by a trained clinician. If you are using these tools outside of therapy and become distressed, stop, ground yourself, and contact a mental health professional.

Pick a healing color

Choose the color that feels most soothing to you right now. There is no wrong answer.

What this is

A guided lightstream visualization based on Shapiro’s standard EMDR technique: the client picks a healing color and imagines it flowing through areas of tension in the body, softening and releasing as it passes.

When to use it

Clinical notes

The script runs through the standard body areas: head, shoulders, chest, belly, hips, legs, feet. Pace is user-controlled — they tap “Next” when they’re ready to move on.
